According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, Rey Mysterio is believed to have suffered an injury, potentially a torn biceps, during his match at Friday night’s Northeast Wrestling Event.
Mysterio teamed with Flip Gordon to face Joey Mercury and Caleb Konley in a tag team match at the event in Waterbury, Connecticut, and the torn biceps reportedly took place during the bout.

The report adds there was significant swelling of Mysterio’s arm following the event, and Joey Mercury at one point was going to ‘call an audible’ to end the match, however, Mysterio went to the bout’s finish which saw him setup a double 619 followed by a top rope splash on Konley for the pin fall win.
